The larger basket is adorned with traditional and culturally significant imagery: a soaring eagle representing strength and guidance, two rabbits symbolizing gentleness and kinship, a pair of beavers embodying industry and community, and cedar at the center for healing and protection. Surrounding these are strawberry flowers, a sacred medicine and symbol of love, along with hearts and florals woven throughout the design to represent care and connection.

Beside it, the smaller basket mirrors the adult’s presence, symbolizing continuity and intergenerational love. It features a central heart for nurturing, sage leaves for cleansing and wisdom, and strawberry flowers for sweetness and protection. Together, the baskets represent family, teachings passed down, and the sacred bond between caregiver and child. This work is a visual offering of love, care, and Indigenous presence in the space.
